Join Staten Island 4 Palestine and the Diaspora Pa'lante Collective's NYC/NJ Chapter for a teach-in that delves into the historical connections and parallels between the Palestinian and Puerto Rican freedom struggles. Learn how to support initiatives fighting for the liberation of the land and people in both regions.
This workshop will be led by Hope Ghazala, a licensed social worker, organizer, and facilitator with over 8 years of experience in popular and political education across social justice movements. Hope organizes with the Diaspora Pa’lante Collective, a mass organization of Boricuas and allies across the diaspora and the archipelago fighting for Borikén independence. All proceeds will go directly to Waterfall of Goodness, a grassroots, women-led charity in Gaza dedicated to supporting Gazans as they rebuild in the wake of the ongoing genocide. Your donation will fund essential materials, labor, and the vital work of restoring homes and Palestinian communities.
